Privacy Policy
Milton Hood Cleaning is the operator of this website, and this Privacy Policy is the plain record of what happens to your information when you use the quote form or browse the site. It names the five fields the form asks for, follows a submission from your browser through a Netlify function into the GoHighLevel CRM the operating crew works from, states how long a record stays there, and explains how to see, correct or delete it by calling 289-401-1377. It is written to meet PIPEDA, the federal privacy law for Canadian businesses.

What the quote form asks for
Five fields, filled in by you. Your name, a phone number, an email address, the business or kitchen name, and a note describing what you need cleaned or repaired.
One hidden field. A honeypot catches automated spam. A human filling out the form never sees it or touches it.
Two values the page adds automatically. The address of the page the form sat on (the homepage or the contact page) and a form id that records which one, so a quote request can be traced back to its source without asking you twice.
Never requested, anywhere on this site. Card numbers, banking details, a social insurance number, or any health information.
Where a submission goes
First stop: a Netlify serverless function. Your browser posts the form to a small function that runs under this domain. It checks the fields, discards spam caught by the honeypot, and passes a clean submission along. It stores no copy of its own.
Second stop: the GoHighLevel CRM. The submission lands as a contact record in GoHighLevel, the customer relationship system the operating crew, Power Hoods Systems, works from to write quotes and schedule visits.
Why the record exists. To return a written quote within 24 hours and, if you accept it, to book the visit. Every later contact from the crew serves one of those two purposes.
No data sold. A contact record is never sold, rented, traded, or passed to an advertising network.
Cross-border storage. Netlify and GoHighLevel may hold data on servers outside Canada, which PIPEDA permits under a protective agreement between the parties. This policy is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
Retention, access and deletion
An enquiry that does not become a job is held while the quote stays open, then archived. A completed job leaves behind a signed certificate and before-and-after photographs, which a kitchen may need to show Milton Fire & Rescue Services, Halton Hills Fire Department, Halton Region Public Health, or an insurer. Those records are kept along with the contact details needed to reissue them.
Seeing what is on file. PIPEDA gives you the right to ask what is held about you. Call 289-401-1377, give the business name used on the form, and a summary is provided within the time PIPEDA allows. This site publishes no email address, so a request goes by phone.
Correcting or deleting it. Contact details are corrected or removed on request. A certificate and its photographs from completed work stay on file as a safety record.
Unresolved concerns. Anyone in Canada can bring a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Cookies, the Google tag and the chat widget
The site's own cookies. This site sets none.
Google tag. A Google Analytics tag (GT-T56JTMW) measures pageviews so the operating crew can see which pages are read. It does not identify you by name.
The chat widget. A GoHighLevel chat button sits on the page but loads nothing until you click or tap it the first time. Once opened, it may set a conversation token in your browser, and any message you send reaches the same CRM the quote form does.
The call tracking line. The number printed on this site, 289-401-1377, is a call tracking line that connects directly to the operating crew. A call may be logged (number, time, duration) the way any business phone system logs a call.
Server logs. Netlify hosts this site and a Bunny CDN mirror serves copies of it. Both keep standard access logs for security and are not joined to form records.
Links and changes. A link that leaves this domain leads to a site with its own rules. This page's date changes whenever the policy itself changes. The terms of service cover the conditions a job runs under.
Privacy: frequently asked questions
Does anything leave the browser before the form is submitted?
No. Nothing about you is sent anywhere until the submit button is pressed.
Who actually sees a submitted quote request?
The operating crew, Power Hoods Systems, reads it in GoHighLevel. Netlify and GoHighLevel process the data under contract to route and store it. No other company receives it.
Does the Google tag identify individual visitors?
GT-T56JTMW measures pageviews in aggregate. It is not used to build a personal profile of a visitor.
Will the chat widget contact me if I never click it?
No. The widget loads only after you click or tap it, so a visitor who ignores it sends nothing to GoHighLevel.
How do I request deletion when there is no email address on the site?
By phone. Call 289-401-1377, name the business you entered on the form, and the contact record is removed. A certificate and its photographs from completed work stay on file.
